MYO Makoatl Entry #3 - Tarni (Contest Entry)

This girl was just planned to be based off an Epaulette shark (I'm currently obsessed with sharks can you tell), so Farsky could represent the deep water Makos and Tarni the shallow water Makos. Somewhere along the line she became based off Australian animals, and then the country in general

Makoatl Name: Tarni - Australian Aborigine name meaning 'wave/surf/salt water'

Personality: Tarni is a dancer, musician, mezzo-soprano singer and all round musical talent, playing the violin, piano and flute. She loves losing herself in music, and thinks it even better if she makes others happy by doing so. Though she may appear a confident and sassy girl, and is certainly fully aware of her appeal - using it to great success in her dancing - there's a buried vulnerability to this performer, hidden so well in her mask it's almost imperceptible. Perhaps even invisible to her after so long hiding it, Tarni has a deep-seated anxiety towards being alone, having not had any family growing up. It's not often a problem now seeing as she's a very popular musician and can't really go anywhere without someone talking to her, something she is grateful for. Too reach any sign of this fault in her otherwise perfect composure, - it's rare to see her without her trademark confident smirk after all - you'd have to be very very close, and considering she isn't that interested in getting close with people, it seems unlikely.

She likes to show off and is indeed quite the showman with her flair for colourful and exotic fashion and heavy makeup, describing herself as the doll on which she can try out all the zany designs her mind thinks up on a daily basis and even from her childhood.

Tarni likes sunshine, music and alternative fashion, and dislikes loneliness, cold weather and rules.
